Job summary

Davies Insurance Solutions is seeking a Compliance professional to support the Head of Compliance and the team in implementing risk management framework and regulatory compliance across London-based businesses. The role covers risk identification, monitoring and reporting for the London Market Intermediaries and related entities.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk and compliance environments, preferably in the Insurance sector.
• Ability to design and implement risk management frameworks.
• Experience maintaining risk registers and governance documentation.
• Solid understanding of regulatory rules and how they affect wholesale/retail markets.
• Ideally pursuing or holding a relevant risk or compliance qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and maintaining the Insurance Solutions risk management framework across entities and business units.
• Maintain and develop risk registers and governance documentation.
• Engage with risk owners to identify new and emerging risks and support controls and action plans.
• Maintain action logs and escalate material issues and risk breaches as needed.
• Assist with risk workshops, risk reviews and quality of risk documentation across the division.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc risk MI, dashboards and reporting packs for boards and committees.
• Support client risk assessments and regulatory compliance monitoring across Insurance Solutions.
• Assist with implementing and monitoring the Davies Insurance Solutions Compliance Monitoring Plan in relevant UK entities.
• Support oversight of the Intermediary Services network of Appointed Representatives and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare board materials for AR oversight and governance forums.
• Monitor regulatory requirements such as IDD, PRIN, ICOBS, SYSC, PROD and SUP and assess implications.
