Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our London team. You will support the design and delivery of the Compliance Plan, and provide regulatory oversight across the Lloyd’s framework.

You will engage with regulators (Lloyd’s, PRA, FCA) and coordinate governance documentation, while helping to respond to inspections and regulatory changes. The role typically requires London office presence with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience in a Compliance Function within the Lloyd’s insurance market.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations relating to insurance/financial services.
• Experience improving or implementing processes or procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation, and delivery of AXIS’s Compliance Plan.
• Provide day-to-day compliance oversight and advisory activity.
• Contribute to governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Offer regulatory advice including sanctions and financial crime matters.
• Engage with Lloyd’s, PRA, and FCA and respond to regulatory requests and inspections.
• Assist in coordinating regulatory applications, SM&CR, and governance documentation.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist with change projects.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management and boards.
