Job summary

CFC is seeking a Business Analyst to join the MI & Data Insights team in London. The role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into practical data solutions that improve reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience working in MI, Reporting, Analytics or Data Insights functions.
• Strong understanding of the London Market, Lloyd's or wider insurance industry.
• Ability to translate business problems into data and technology solutions.
• Experience gathering requirements, improving processes and supporting change initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and opportunities from data.
• Experience using SQL, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance team performance.
• Support large-scale transformation projects including technology migrations, automation, and data modernisation programmes.
• Translate business requirements into actionable solutions for Data and Technology teams.
• Work with stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements and deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Conduct data analysis and discovery to support strategic initiatives and change programmes.
• Support testing, user acceptance and governance for successful delivery.
• Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, training and feedback loops.
• Help shape reporting frameworks, controls and quality standards.
