Job summary

Oliver James Group in City of London seeks a Business Transformation Analyst to join a leading global insurance organisation's UK Change & Transformation function. You will analyse end-to-end processes, identify inefficiencies and support initiatives from discovery through implementation.

The role emphasizes challenging existing processes, stakeholder workshops and data-driven insights, with hybrid working 2–3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Essential: experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong track record delivering business change and transformation, not solely technical BA work.
• Commercial insurance experience across areas such as Underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Operations, Distribution or Delegated Authority.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience with process mapping, requirements analysis and business process improvement.
• Comfortable using data to support analysis and decision making.
• Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Miro or similar would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyse end-to-end processes, operating models and customer journeys.
• Identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate complex business problems into practical solutions and recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across business and technology.
• Support transformation initiatives from discovery through to implementation.
• Use data and analysis to identify trends, root causes and opportunities.
• Contribute to process redesign, business readiness and operating model change.
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitalisation and AI-enabled improvements.
• Support UAT, implementation and benefits realisation.
