Job summary

CFC in London is seeking an Actuarial Analyst within the Performance Management, MI & Data Analytics team to understand and improve underwriting performance through analysis, reporting and project work that informs commercial decisions across the business.

You’ll engage with underwriting and claims teams as well as products, software development and finance to link data insights with business outcomes, building commercial awareness and strengthening your actuarial skillset.

Qualifications

• A numerate degree such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics.
• Actuarial exams: 1–3 passed or exemptions.
• Strong analytical skills with data.
• Excel proficiency to analyze data.
• Clear communication and structured approach.
• Curiosity about how actuarial work informs business performance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quantitative analysis using probabilistic and deterministic methods.
• Support development and improvement of pricing tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reporting with clear commentary.
• Contribute to team activity and cross-functional projects.
