Job Title: Insurance Claims Handler at Virtual Bridges

Brook Street Recruitment is working with our insurance client in Belfast to recruit an Insurance Account Handler for their team. Our client is a well-established insurance broker that combines expertise with innovative, tailor-made solutions and handles complex programs for companies of all sizes.

Responsibilities

1. Place all types of commercial risks within the market.
2. Provide expert and prompt advice to clients regarding their insurance needs.
3. Liaise appropriately with insurer partners.
4. Maintain high customer service levels through prompt, professional servicing of client accounts, including Mid-Term Adjustments and handling customer queries.
5. Manage files to ensure individual client cases are completed promptly, effectively, accurately, and fully.
6. Ensure client confidentiality is maintained and protected at all costs.
7. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Candidate Criteria

• CII qualified or working towards exams.
• Over 3 years of previous account handling experience within the corporate or commercial sector.
• Experience dealing with technical insurance issues.
• Experience working with a diverse client base on risks of various sizes and complexities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels using various channels.

Salary will depend on experience and can be discussed upon application.
