Clark James Insurance Recruitment is seeking an experienced Insurance Manager in Bucks to lead and develop the sales and customer service teams. You will oversee Personal Lines and/or Commercial book, mentor staff, and build strong client and insurer relationships while aligning with the director on strategy.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership and a proactive approach to staff development and HR responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience in UK broking/sales in Personal Lines or Commercial.
• Knowledge of Motor or Commercial lines.
• Experience negotiating with insurers.
• HR/recruitment experience.

Clark James Insurance Recruitment are working with a very successful and client focussed Bucks based Insurance brokerage who have traditional values when it comes to client servicing and have a very loyal and large base of clients who have come to expect great service and value.

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Manager to come on-board and lead a team dealing mainly with Personal Lines clients who are very well looked after. You will be responsible for the overall management and development of the sales and customer service departments as well as leading the team to success, mentoring and reviewing.

You should have a good knowledge of the market to include Motor or Commercial lines of Insurance.

Other duties will include;

• Overall management of the department working closely with the director
• Responsible for development of department
• Responsible for negotiating & developing relationships with insurers & suppliers
• Dealing with HR including helping staff with issues, recruitment and interviews.
• Potential to develop into other classes of insurance

You will have strong communication skills and be able to build good client and team relationships.
