LCP, a leading actuarial and analytics consultancy, is hiring a C# Developer to join the Insurance Analytics team in London with hybrid working. You will advance InsurSight, our analytics platform used across non-life insurance, collaborating with data scientists, actuaries and developers to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

The role blends technical development with industry application, emphasising code quality, testing, and continuous improvement in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C# development (.NET 6 / 8)
• Experience with Azure PaaS/SaaS offerings (Azure Functions, App Services, Table/Queue/Blob Storage), ASP.NET WebAPI, and CosmosDB
• Demonstrable knowledge of software engineering principles such as unit testing, change management control and SOLID principles
• Exposure to or keen interest in the non-life insurance analytics domain, bridging technology and actuarial science
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts across cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving mindset with a drive for continuous learning and excellence
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and customer-centric software delivery
• Experience in Python development is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

• Engage in iterative enhancement and feature development of LCP InsurSight
• Primary focus on C# with supplementary involvement in other languages
• Collaborate with actuaries, analytics specialists, and developers to integrate analytics into software solutions
• Champion code quality, maintainability, and robust testing methodologies
• Participate in research and prototyping of emerging technologies
• Disseminate technical knowledge to foster a learning culture
