Introduction

As a Technician (Apprentice) in our Operations Team, you will be an integral part of our high-performing team based out of our Cheltenham office. Your role will involve providing efficient, effective and expert administrative support to the Technical Team and Broking Divisions, in line with compliance, FCA and internal audit guidelines.

Entry-level technicians are supported to achieve professional qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Insurance to become Cert CII qualified. This is usually achieved via the fully supported level 3 apprenticeship route.

Responsibilities
  • Document Creation – gather information from files and use the data to complete standard document templates for distribution both internally and externally.
  • Data Entry - Fully and accurately enter, amend, update and submit data at a competent and unsupervised level onto the relevant systems.
  • Management information – create and maintain electronic and paper files, manage day-to-day correspondence, ensuring urgent matters are identified and dealt with promptly.

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
  • GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 5 or above (or equivalent).
  • Commitment to studying and achieving the Cert CII (usually via the level 3 apprenticeship route) within an 18-24 month period.

  • Ability to problem solve using knowledge of policies and procedures.
