Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is recruiting for an Insurance Account Handler / Customer Service Representative in North Yorkshire. The role covers new business, renewals, policy administration and ongoing customer support in a client-focused environment.

The successful candidate will manage policies, communicate with clients and insurers, and identify opportunities to offer additional insurance products. Hybrid working is available, with a friendly, supportive team and training provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and numeracy.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Insurance experience is beneficial but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage new business, renewals, policy changes and general client administration.
• Speak with clients to understand their insurance requirements and provide suitable options.
• Obtain and compare insurance quotes from insurers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Process policies, maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Handle client queries and provide support with claims where required.
• Manage payments and finance arrangements.
• Keep clients informed throughout the insurance process.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional insurance products where appropriate.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service and professional communication at all times.
