Job summary
Anglian Water Group Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Development Scientist to be the go-to expert for instrumentation and methodologies within the Central Laboratory in Huntingdon.
The role reports to the Technical Development Manager and supports equipment validation, method development, and scientific investigations. You will manage laboratory instrumentation, support investigations, maintain up-to-date knowledge on analytical techniques, and ensure compliance with quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific subject.
- Experience in laboratory settings and with equipment/software.
- Understanding of regulatory standards and QMS.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage and validate laboratory instrumentation and methodologies.
- Support investigations into instrument performance and non-conforming work.
- Maintain knowledge of instrumentation and analytical techniques.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory standards.
- Champion health, safety, and wellbeing in all laboratory activities.
- Provide training and support to analytical teams.
