Due to growth into various export markets, they are looking for a Instrumentation Support Engineer to join their close-knit team. Role & Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support for the commissioning of new plant and equipment.
2. Review and verify correct installation, function checking, and commissioning of new plant and equipment.
3. Support plants with maintenance according to the Plant Maintenance programme.
4. Supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, installation, and commissioning of control and instrumentation systems and equipment.
5. Review and update the technical content of the preventive maintenance procedures.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Familiar with control and instrumentation equipment and systems.
• Formal Instrumentation Apprenticeship, Tertiary Vocational Qualification to minimum HNC or equivalent.
• Ability to read instrumentation drawings, trip panel drawings, logic diagrams, tables, PLC, and DCS configuration.
• Operational knowledge of industrial plant and process control systems – Siemens & ABB, including maintenance & calibration, and quality systems on production sites.
• Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments.
