Pioneer Selection Ltd in Yeadon, Leeds, is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to maintain and optimise instrumentation and control systems in a busy manufacturing facility.

You will perform calibration, planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and contribute to Lean Manufacturing initiatives while ensuring safe, reliable operation. The role offers a 38-hour week, dayshift, and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Instrumentation, Controls, Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• Calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and measurement systems.
• Reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Aufgaben

• Carry out calibration, maintenance, inspection and repair of instrumentation and control systems.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance and scheduled calibration activities.
• Reactive maintenance and fault-finding to minimise downtime.
• Investigate recurring instrumentation and equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates and documentation.
• Assist with control system software modifications, configuration changes and commissioning.
• Interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings and instrumentation documentation.
• Maintain instrumentation manuals, drawings, configuration files, programme backups and certification.
• Identify opportunities to improve instrumentation reliability and process performance.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
