Type: Permanent, Full-time, 38 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 3:36 pm, plus standby & overtime. Salary: Up to £45,000 based on experience. Job grade: A. Closing date: 28/05/2025.

Overview

Join our Sewage Treatments Team as an ICA Technician based out of Chesham. This mobile role involves working at various Treatment Works across the Colne North Area. You will work independently to maintain standards, meet statutory obligations, and ensure asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, commission, maintain, and repair water production assets including instrumentation and monitors.
2. Operate and optimize processes using SCADA systems, PLCs, and control networks.
3. Supervise contractors and investigate asset failures for prompt repairs.
4. Provide technical advice and training to apprentices.

Location & Hours

Base: Chesham STW. Hours: 38/week, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm, with standby & overtime opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

• Practical understanding of operational assets and control systems.
• Experience with SCADA, relay logic, PLCs, and inverter drives.
• HNC/Level 4 or 6+ years' experience, including apprenticeship.
• Valid driving license and safety-conscious mindset.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and team-oriented with good communication skills.
