A leading water and wastewater company is seeking an Instrumentation, Control & Automation technician for their Sewage Treatments Team in Chesham. The role involves maintaining and optimizing water production assets, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. The technician will work with SCADA systems and PLCs, and provide training support for apprentices. We have an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) technician to join our Sewage Treatments Team based out of Chesham.
This is a mobile role, where you will work on various Treatment Works around the Colne North Area.
We seek a candidate who can work safely, efficiently, and effectively with minimal supervision, maintaining standards to meet statutory obligations and ensure asset availability and performance measures are upheld to manufacturers' standards.
An ICA Tech may operate and optimize processes and on-site equipment to ensure water quality compliance, safety, and operational efficiency, including out-of-hours work.
Base Location: Chesham STW - HP5 1TH
Working pattern: 38 hours, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm, with standby and overtime opportunities that can increase earnings by approximately £8,000-£10,000 annually.
All PPE, tools, a company van, and a fuel card are provided.
