Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking an Installation Technician to join a national group that designs, manufactures, installs and services automatic garage doors across the UK. The role is based in Leicester with a regional patch and Monday to Friday working pattern.

You will attend pre-booked installations at homeowners’ properties, complete multiple installations on site, and support larger accounts with a junior engineer by your side. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic property installations or trades.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Install garage doors at homes as part of a regional patch.
• Predominantly installation work with occasional repairs.
• Cover Leicester and surrounding counties (Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, West Midlands).

Do you have a trade or installation background working within domestic properties? Are you looking for a role offering a regional patch, job security and the chance to work for the direct manufacturer themselves? Do you want a new role within a multisite group known for their excellent staff retention and first class training and development?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for an installation technician to join the team and cover the Leicester area. You will be attending multiple pre booked appointments in the region working on both one off installations at home owners properties as well as servicing large new build/housing contracts where you will complete multiple installations on one site. You will have senior members to shadow to get up to speed and will work with a larger team when servicing larger accounts.

The company manage a national operation where they design, manufacture, install and service a range of automatic Garage Doors & equipment to households across the UK. They have an excellent reputation built on years of satisfied customers, great reviews and quality work. You will have a junior engineer working with you to support and will work with a larger team when servicing larger accounts.

The Role:

• Installing Garage Doors at homes
• Monday to Friday - 2 jobs per day
• Mostly Installation with occasional repair jobs
• Covering Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, West Midlands areas

The Candidate:

• Some experience within trades, domestic properties and/or installations
• Keen to learn and develop your skills
• Full Driving License
