Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Installations Engineer in the Midlands region with full training provided. The role focuses on installing garage workshop equipment at customer sites, working in a two-person field team across a regional patch (M1 corridor) with Mon–Fri hours, overtime, and door-to-door pay.

You’ll join a supportive engineering team, training internally and with external manufacturer sessions to become a recognised specialist and progress long-term in a hands-on field

Qualifications

• Mechanical background in engineering, e.g. ex-forces, forklifts, automotive or garage equipment.
• Willing to travel regionally and stay away occasionally when jobs exceed 2.5 hours.
• Motivated by training and progression for a long-term role.

You’ll be joining a close-knit engineering team where development is genuinely supported, working with a range of clients from independent garages to national dealership networks and sports car workshops.

The Role:

• Mon‑Fri with overtime, no call outs and door‑to‑door pay

The Person:

• Mechanical Engineer background (e.g. ex‑forces, forklifts, automotive, garage equipment or similar)
• Happy with regional travel and occasional stays away when jobs exceed ~2.5 hours travel
• Motivated by training and progression (Senior Engineer ? Team Lead) and wants a long‑term role
