Role Overview

This role leads the Site Management and Level 1 Commissioning team, ensuring sites are operated safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. It focuses on consistent execution, strong leadership, and collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive project success.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Champion site safety: Ensure compliance with safety laws and standards. Mentor Site Managers to proactively address safety issues. Review toolbox talks and safety logs.
2. Drive quality delivery: Ensure installation meets contractual quality standards and client expectations.
3. Own the installation schedule: Keep projects on track and lead corrective actions when necessary.
4. Control project costs: Monitor subcontractors and manage change orders to stay within budget.
5. Plan staffing: Match resources to project needs, develop internal talent, and collaborate with subcontractors.
6. Manage department budget: Track spending, forecast needs, and align resources with financial goals.
7. Develop the team: Provide training, mentorship, and foster communication skills.
8. Track performance: Maintain safety, hours, and resource utilization reports. Ensure timely submission of reports and KPIs.
9. Lead Site Managers: Oversee team performance, project execution, and process adherence.
10. Set standards: Maintain procedures, ensure site cleanliness, and manage tools.
11. Conduct kickoff meetings: Align expectations with clients and subcontractors.
12. Coach for accountability: Ensure scope ownership, milestone understanding, and proper documentation.
13. Support project health: Review progress, communicate issues early, and support problem resolution.
14. Provide expertise: Offer hands-on support, guide risk mitigation, and client communication.
15. Enhance delivery: Push teams to exceed expectations and identify value-added opportunities.
16. Forecast accurately: Review labor estimates and ensure timely timesheet and expense submissions.
