Job summary

UCC Coffee in Leeds is seeking a proactive Service Engineer to install, maintain and relocate hot beverage equipment for a diverse client base. You will follow safety procedures, complete online documentation and perform pre-install checks, liaising with clients and other trades.

The role requires a keen eye for coffee quality, strong problem solving and a clean driving license. You will work flexibly to service sites across the region and contribute to customer satisfaction on every visit.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high standard customer service.
• Knowledge of coffee equipment and beverage preparation.
• Strong problem-solving and technical abilities.
• Clean driving license and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, undertaking risk assessments and reporting risks.
• Complete all online job sheets, time sheets and required documentation.
• Perform pre-installation checks and liaise with clients/third parties to ensure smooth work.
• Install equipment according to standards and regulations; conduct post-installation checks.
• Identify changes to scope, complete client paperwork, and validate satisfaction.
• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicle; report faults and replenish stock.

6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Promoting the UCC brand by working professionally and efficiently as part of a team or individually, installing, removing and relocating hot beverage equipment for a broad range of clients ranging from high street independents to national brands and organisations.

The Role:

• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, undertaking risk assessments to ensure that it is safe to work and bring any risks to the attention of the company management
• Complete all necessary on-line job sheets, time sheets and other documentation as required, ensuring any paper work is available and has been reviewed and understood before setting off to site.
• Complete all necessary pre-installation checks, liaising with the client, other trades and third parties as indicated on work instructions to demonstrate a high level of customer care.
• Install equipment in line with company standards and current regulations, completing all post installation & commissioning checks.
• Identify any changes to scope or requests by the client, record any changes and complete all client paperwork prior to leaving premises to validate client satisfaction.
• Keep in good working order all tools, equipment and vehicles supplied by the company, reporting any faults, breakages or equipment failures to your line manager daily.
• Provide agreed spare parts stocks via hand held unit to ensure that parts are invoiced to the customer, deducted from stock and replenished to maintain your vehicle stock inventory.
