TailorEDucation Recruitment Ltd is seeking Tutors to support pupils from KS1 to KS5, including those with SEND, in UK settings. Roles vary from in-school tuition to online sessions, offering flexible, frequent opportunities.

Ideal candidates have teaching or tutoring experience, a passion for helping learners, and strong communication skills to build trust with pupils, families and schools. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching, tutoring or education experience.
• Experience supporting Maths and/or English.
• Ability to engage and motivate pupils.
• Adapt learning to individual needs.
• Experience working with SEND pupils is desirable for some roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, supportive and nurturing approach.
• Genuine passion for helping children reach potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured tuition sessions.
• Support pupils to develop Maths and English skills.
• Deliver Functional Skills or targeted academic intervention.
• Adapt learning to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback on learning.
• Encourage confidence, independence and a positive attitude to learning.
• Collaborate with schools, families and other professionals.
