Job summary

Pelsall Village School in Walsall invites applications for a SEND teacher to join THE THRIVE HIVE SRP. The post is for a 1 January 2027 start, with a permanent contract and a salary between £32,916 and £47,472, plus a SEND point of £2,787.

Full time or job share considered, with a supportive SRP team and strong focus on communication and language needs. The Thrive Hive offers two classrooms, sensory spaces, outdoor learning, and a dedicated staff team.

• Must have secure knowledge of SEND
• Experience of working with children with Autism alongside communication and language needs
• Create an engaging learning experience for every child

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality SEND teaching in the Thrive Hive SRP
• Support 16 children with autism and language needs alongside two full‑time teachers
• Collaborate with SLT and curriculum leads across the school
• Contribute to the development and implementation of EHCPs
• Promote safeguarding and well‑being within the SRP
