Job summary

PK Education is recruiting a SEND Teacher for a supportive school based in Sheffield, S10. This full-time position begins September 2026 and offers daily rates ranging from £140 to £220, dependent on experience.

You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND, working with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and families to foster progress and wellbeing. A QTS or equivalent is required, with a passion for inclusive education.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience with SEND is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and goals.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to IEPs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and SENCOs.
• Maintain safeguarding and school policies at all times.
