Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Cardiff is seeking an SEN Teacher to join a welcoming SEN provision from November 2026. You will plan differentiated lessons, create a safe learning environment and build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

With experience in SEND and strong classroom management, you will develop personalised plans and monitor progress, collaborating with TAs, therapists, and external professionals to support every learner’s growth and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working with children/youth with SEND.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons meeting individual needs.
• Create a safe, structured learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Support pupils with a range of SEND needs, adapting teaching approaches.
• Develop personalised learning plans and strategies.
• Monitor and track pupil progress.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals.
• Promote independence and social development.
• Contribute to inclusion, wellbeing and high expectations.
