Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. You will plan and deliver engaging PE lessons, encouraging students to develop their physical skills, confidence, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have experience teaching PE in a secondary setting, and possess strong classroom management skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passionate about sport and inspiring young people.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach a range of practical sports and physical activities.
• Support students to develop sporting skills, confidence and teamwork.
• Monitor, assess and support student progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Encourage participation in extracurricular activities where required.
• Contribute to the wider life of the PE department and school community.
