Philosophy Education, Ltd. partners with a highly regarded Bromley secondary school to appoint a Teacher of Science for KS3 and KS4, starting September 2026. The role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time hours and a salary paid to scale.

You will teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics, foster curiosity and practical enquiry, and contribute to curriculum development. The school provides excellent laboratories, strong CPD, and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Commitment to safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students through practical investigations and scientific enquiry.
• Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
• Develop analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students can achieve.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Support enrichment opportunities including STEM activities, Science clubs and visits.
