Job summary

Mersey View Learning Trust is partnering with The Supply Register to recruit a Science Teacher for a full-time role at a Merseyside school. You will teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics across KS3/KS4, plan lessons to GCSE standards and support students toward exam success.

The role values strong classroom management, KS3/KS4 delivery, and building positive relationships with pupils and staff. Experience with SEND is beneficial and CPD access is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering science at secondary level and GCSE.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics aligned to GCSE curriculum.
• Plan lessons in line with National Curriculum and GCSE requirements.
• Support pupils of all abilities to achieve their potential.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the science department to drive outcomes.
