Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is partnering with a Rochester secondary school to recruit a Teacher of Science for KS3 and KS4 from September 2026. The role welcomes both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT) seeking either full-time or part-time opportunities.

The successful candidate will teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 with potential for a subject specialism, contributing to curriculum development and STEM enrichment activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3; specialism welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students through practical investigations and scientific enquiry.
• Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
