Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver biology, chemistry, and physics across KS3 and KS4, with potential A-Level delivery depending on discipline. The role sits within a dedicated science faculty at a vibrant secondary school in Wolverhampton.

You will foster scientific curiosity, manage practical laboratories safely, assess progress, contribute to STEM outreach, and support pastoral duties as a Form Tutor.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS with a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related discipline.
• Experience teaching Science across KS3-4 in a UK secondary setting.
• Ability to deliver GCSE Combined and Separate Sciences with strong lab skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons across KS3-4 (AQA GCSE).
• Manage laboratory safety, storage, and practical investigations.
• Assess progress and implement targeted interventions.
• Lead or support STEM extracurricular activities.
• Fulfil pastoral duties as Form Tutor as required.
