Job summary

Marchant Recruitment supports a high-achieving secondary school in Walsall, England to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher. The role is full-time and permanent, open to ECTs and experienced teachers, with access to well-resourced laboratories and dedicated technician support.

You will teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at A‑Level depending on expertise, and contribute to enrichment and CREST activities while pursuing professional growth within a supportive department.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach across KS3–KS5.
• Excellent understanding of laboratory health and safety practices.
• Commitment to inclusive classroom management and high expectations for all pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, enquiry-led Science lessons across KS3–KS5 and provide practical laboratory work.
• Support high academic standards and monitor pupil progress in Combined and Separate Sciences.
• Contribute to co-curricular STEM activities and university applications guidance.
