Job summary

Marchant Recruitment seeks an enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver biology, chemistry and physics across KS3 and KS4 at a Walsall secondary academy. The role may include A-Level delivery depending on the specialist discipline.

You will foster scientific curiosity, build practical laboratory skills, and support pupils to achieve outstanding GCSE progress within a collaborative science faculty.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or QTLS with a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or closely related discipline.
• Proven ability to teach Science across KS3 and KS4 in a UK secondary setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver science lessons across KS3/KS4 (GCSE Combined and Separate Sciences).
• Manage laboratory safety, equipment, and practical activities in line with CLEAPSS guidelines.
• Assess pupil progress, provide interventions, and support STEM extra-curricular activities.
