Job summary

Voyage Care in Peterborough area is seeking a Registered Service Manager to lead a well-established residential service. You will guide a skilled team, ensure high-quality care, compliance and person-centred support, and drive positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You’ll collaborate with families, healthcare professionals and local commissioners, shaping service development while maintaining strong community links and a warm, supportive culture across the

Qualifications

• Experience working within Learning Disability services.
• Experience supporting people with complex care needs.
• Knowledge of epilepsy and physical disabilities in care settings.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong understanding of CQC expectations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, or willingness to achieve this.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day running of the service.
• Leading, developing and motivating your team.
• Completing supervisions, appraisals and performance management.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and colleague development.
• Ensuring regulatory, legislative and company standards are met.
• Completing audits, action plans and service reviews.
• Managing service budgets and resources effectively.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with families and professionals.
• Promoting person-centred practice and positive outcomes for the people we support.
• Participating in the on-call rota as required.
