Job summary

Best In Class Ltd is seeking a Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a full-time, temporary position in Chapeltown, Leeds. The role requires QTS or equivalent and an enhanced DBS. The successful candidate will deliver engaging RE lessons, promote understanding of diverse beliefs, and maintain an inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, assessing progress, and collaborating with colleagues to support student wellbeing. DBS is required before starting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification and experience.
• Strong knowledge of Religious Education and diverse belief systems.
• Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management.
• Ability to deliver engaging RE lessons and encourage discussion.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS check required before starting the role.

Responsibilities
