Job summary

Tradewind Education is seeking a passionate Teacher of Religious Education to join a welcoming secondary school in South Yorkshire on a long-term basis from September.

You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, plan engaging lessons, assess student progress and contribute to a collaborative department and broader school life. QTS or equivalent, strong classroom management and an enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote curiosity and respect for beliefs.
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
