Job summary

GSL Education Hull Branch are recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work across primary schools in Hull. This role is temporary, full-time, term-time only, with start as soon as possible and a salary scale of £34,068 to £52,834 per annum (MPS/UPS).

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' academic, social and emotional development, and work with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to promote inclusion and positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Experience teaching primary-aged pupils; Early Career Teachers are welcome.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Holds an up-to-date CV and can provide references covering the last two years.
• Right to work in the UK and DBS checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum tailored to ages and abilities.
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Assess pupils' learning, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to support development.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet diverse needs, including SEND.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support pupils' academic and personal development.
