Vision for Education Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our team in Chelmsford and surrounding areas. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, keep pupils engaged, and support classroom continuity when teachers are absent.

Role focuses on creating a positive learning environment, managing behaviour, and handing over to staff with clarity. Competitive weekly PAYE pay and flexible schedule are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work or similar setting.
• Confidence managing a classroom and leading a group of pupils.
• Strong communication and behaviour-management skills.
• A calm, reliable and adaptable approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Suitable references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons when the class teacher is absent.
• Keep pupils engaged, motivated and on track.
• Help create a positive learning environment and manage behaviour.
• Provide a clear handover to teaching staff.
