Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our team in Chelmsford and surrounding areas. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, keep pupils engaged, and support classroom continuity when teachers are absent.

Role focuses on creating a positive learning environment, managing behaviour, and handing over to staff with clarity. Competitive weekly PAYE pay and flexible schedule are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work or similar setting.
• Confidence managing a classroom and leading a group of pupils.
• Strong communication and behaviour-management skills.
• A calm, reliable and adaptable approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Suitable references.

Responsibilities

Pay: £100-£110 per day, depending on experience and qualifications

THE ROLE

As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom when the class teacher is absent, delivering pre-planned lessons and keeping pupils engaged, motivated and on track.

You'll help create a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour, support pupils with their work and provide a clear handover to teaching staff.
