The successful candidate will plan schemes of work, monitor progress, and contribute to recruitment andprogramme development while upholding health and safety standards in practical classrooms.

Qualifications

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Plumbing and related programmes with engaging lessons and constructive feedback.
• Plan and develop the Plumbing curriculum, including schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment materials.
• Monitor learner progress with accurate records and provide guidance to achieve learning goals.
• Contribute to learner recruitment and the wider curriculum, advising prospective learners and supporting Functional Skills.
• Maintain health and safety standards across practical Plumbing teaching environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Plumbing and associated programmes, providing engaging lessons, appropriate assessment opportunities and constructive feedback to support learner achievement.
• Plan and develop the Plumbing curriculum, including producing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment materials and learning plans, while contributing to the development and continuous improvement of programmes.
• Monitor and support learner progress, maintaining accurate records of achievement, progress and performance, and providing appropriate guidance and support to help learners achieve their learning goals.
• Contribute to learner recruitment and the wider curriculum, providing advice and guidance to prospective learners, supporting Functional Skills where appropriate, and working collaboratively with relevant College teams.
• Maintain quality, compliance and safe working practices, contributing to quality improvement activities, effective curriculum administration and ensuring appropriate health and safety standards are maintained across practical Plumbing teaching environments.
