Job summary

Coleg Sir Gar in Ammanford Campus is seeking a Casual Lecturer in Plumbing to deliver high-quality teaching and assessments on our plumbing programmes. Based at Ammanford Campus, you will liaise with industry bodies, sector skills councils and partner schools, ensuring an inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement and learner success.

A teaching qualification is advantageous, with relevant plumbing qualifications and experience in teaching/mentoring others.

Qualifications

• A teaching qualification would be advantageous, but not essential.
• If you don’t have a teaching qualification, but relevant industrial experience related to plumbing, we would love to hear from you.
• You will need relevant qualifications in plumbing and experience of teaching/mentoring others.
• Excellent communication skills; highly organised and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality teaching and assessments to learners.
• Liaise with sector skills councils, industrial bodies, partner schools, employers and other higher educational institutions.
• Ensure an inclusive learning environment that promotes learner engagement, participation and success.
• Support plumbing occupations team and contribute across the faculty provision as required.
