Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College in Malvern is seeking a Plumbing Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching across Plumbing programmes. You will plan the curriculum, develop schemes of work, and assess learner progress while upholding health and safety standards in practical environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering Plumbing-related courses.
  • Ability to assess and provide constructive feedback.
  • Experience developing schemes of work and learning plans.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Plumbing and associated programmes, providing engaging lessons, appropriate assessment opportunities and constructive feedback to support learner achievement.
  • Plan and develop the Plumbing curriculum, including producing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment materials and learning plans, while contributing to the development and continuous improvement of programmes.
  • Monitor and support learner progress, maintaining accurate records of achievement, progress and performance, and providing appropriate guidance and support to help learners achieve their learning goals.
  • Contribute to learner recruitment and the wider curriculum, providing advice and guidance to prospective learners, supporting Functional Skills where appropriate, and working collaboratively with relevant College teams.
  • Maintain quality, compliance and safe working practices, contributing to quality improvement activities, effective curriculum administration and ensuring appropriate health and safety standards are maintained across practical Plumbing teaching environments.

£31,503 - £41,433 Permanent Heart of Worcestershire College Plumbing Lecturer 37 Hours x 52 Weeks Actual Salary: £31,503 - £41,433 based on 37 Hours x 52 Weeks. Starting salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
