Job summary

Cheshire College South and West is seeking a Personal Development Tutor for Crewe Campus to deliver group tutorials on employability, British Values and safeguarding, while supporting student wellbeing and engagement.

You will induct students, monitor progress against targets, and refer concerns to appropriate services. The role requires empathy, DBS check, and experience with 16–18 year olds in a college setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification required.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group tutorial sessions covering personal development themes.
• Induct students to the college and foster belonging and resilience.
• Refer students to specialist services where necessary.
• Support learner participation through enrichment and learner voice activities.
• Support students with progress against targets and high ambitions.
• Monitor attendance using college systems and address issues.
