Qualifications

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
• Demonstrate successful teaching experience at secondary level (including practice).
• Understand National Curriculum requirements at KS3/KS4 and how to write lessons, develop resources and assess students.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, differentiated curriculum and support a designated curriculum area.
• Monitor and support progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.
• Facilitate a learning experience to help students reach their potential and raise attainment.
• Share and support the academy's responsibility for personal and academic growth.
• Contribute to planning, resources, syllabuses and departmental planning.
