Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery in Ottershaw is seeking a Nursery Team Leader to inspire and lead a dedicated team, ensuring EYFS delivery and high-quality learning moments for children. You will oversee daily operations with warmth, confidence and a focus on safety and development.

A full Early Years qualification is required, with strong EYFS and Ofsted knowledge, plus experience in people management and safeguarding. The role offers a supportive environment within our established nursery group.

Qualifications

Full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above.
Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework.
Experience of people management and dealing with employee issues.
Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
Working knowledge of employment legislation including equal opportunities legislation.
Fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that the EYFS is implemented and followed throughout the team to an exemplary standard.
Providing day-to-day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery as required.
Assisting in the effective use of social media and other marketing activities as required.
