Job summary

You will deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with potential KS5, using digital tools, and support revision and exam preparation. This is a full-time, permanent post with competitive pay and opportunities to contribute to student progress and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT) are required.
• Strong subject knowledge across Key Stage 3 to 5 with ability to stretch ambitious pupils.
• Active enhanced DBS check on Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging and rigorous Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5.
• Plan and deliver lessons that build numerical fluency and problem-solving resilience.
• Guide GCSE and A-Level pupils through assessment, feedback, and exam preparation.
• Utilize digital learning platforms to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress across mocks and classwork.
• Fulfill pastoral duties as a Form Tutor, supporting wellbeing and personal development.
