Job summary

Aspris Ridgeway School in Shrivenham is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality Mathematics to pupils aged 7-16, primarily KS3/KS4, and contribute to the wider curriculum when appropriate. The role welcomes both full-time and part-time hours in a supportive, neuro-affirming environment.

You will plan engaging lessons, adapt teaching for autistic pupils, assess progress, and collaborate with families and other professionals to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hold UK QTS.
• Significant classroom experience up to KS4.
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and high expectations for all pupils.
• Understanding of adaptive and inclusive teaching approaches.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
• Passion for education and SEN.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Interest in supporting delivery of Science, Computing or PE.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages.
• Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including autistic pupils and those with additional SEN.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching accordingly.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and learning in line with school procedures.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
• Support the delivery of additional curriculum areas, including Science, Computing or PE.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals to support positive outcomes for pupils.
