Job summary

Explore Learning in Milton Keynes is seeking a Maths and English Tutor to coach learners aged 4-16 in small groups using the Compass platform. You’ll deliver engaging sessions on-site at Milton Keynes or MK Kingston centres, building confidence and a love of learning.

This permanent, part-time role requires a commitment of at least 6 hours per week over 2+ weekdays, with pay reflecting age bands (£8.40–£12.75 per hour based on age) and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Must be age 16 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
• GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths & English Language or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead sessions with small groups (16) across ages 4-16.
• Support through national curriculum, including 11+ and GCSE content.
• Build long‑term relationships and foster a safe, encouraging learning environment.
