Job summary

Explore Learning Ltd in Ruislip is hiring Maths and English Tutor to join our on-site centre. You’ll coach and mentor small groups (1:6), deliver engaging lessons using Compass, and help learners progress through the national curriculum, 11+ and GCSE preparation.

This part-time role requires at least 6 hours a week across at least two weekdays. Base pay starts at £8.40–£12.75 per hour depending on age, with a £0.50 uplift for centres inside the M25, plus benefits and staff networks.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 16 or over and eligible to work in the UK.
• Must have achieved GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths and English Language or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivering lessons tailored to individual learners within a 1:6 tutor ratio.
• Building meaningful relationships and a safe, inspiring learning environment.
• Supporting learners with national curriculum topics, 11+ and GCSE prep.
