Job summary

Explore Learning in Romford is seeking a part-time Maths and English Tutor to support children aged 4–16 across the national curriculum, including 11+ and GCSE content. You’ll deliver engaging sessions using Compass, coach learners, and help them build confidence and a love of learning.

Based at our Romford centre, this on-site role requires a minimum of 6 hours weekly over two weekdays. You’ll work 4:20–7:30 Mon, 4:00–7:10 Tue; earning base hourly rates with pay progression and staff perks.

Qualifications

• You must be aged 16 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
• You must have achieved a grade 6 or above in Maths & English at GCSE (or equivalent, predicted grades allowed).

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons tailored to individual pupils within a 1:6 group setting.
• Build meaningful relationships to foster a safe, inspiring learning environment.
• Support progress through the national curriculum and GCSE prep.
