Job summary

Walsall College is recruiting a Lecturer in Property Maintenance and Brickwork to join the Apprenticeship and Work-based Learning Team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching to apprentices and preparing them for End‑Point Assessment, while maintaining alignment with industry practices and employer expectations.

You will monitor progress, provide tailored support, and work with employers and curriculum colleagues to ensure learning is workplace-relevant.

Responsibilities

• Deliver apprenticeship standards within Further Education for property maintenance and brickwork.
• Monitor apprentice progress and provide targeted academic and pastoral support.
• Collaborate with Vocational Coaches, employers and curriculum colleagues to apply learning in the workplace.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancement of the apprenticeship curriculum and QA processes.
