Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking a Lecturer in Brickwork at Brooksby College to deliver across the department's provision. You will plan and deliver brickwork courses, assess learners and manage the learning journey, supporting students with their qualifications.

The role requires current knowledge of brickwork, industry relevance and a commitment to ongoing professional development. A teaching qualification is preferred or must be pursued, and the post offers a supportive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver Brickwork courses and schemes of work.
• Experience to industry standards with recent industry background.
• Willingness to obtain a teaching qualification if not held.

Responsibilities

• Write schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Manage formal assessment processes and records.
• Support learners through their programme and qualification aims.
• Devise and implement individual learning and assessment plans.
• Undertake tutorial and pastoral roles with learners.
• Possess or work towards a teaching qualification.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Brickwork and related industry standards.
• Provide work-based learning experiences.
