Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting an IT & Computer Science Teacher for a specialist SEN school. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, focusing on computing, digital technology and vocational skills within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

We are seeking a dedicated educator with a passion for IT, capable of supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH and promoting safeguarding and inclusive practices across the school. QTS or relevant qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

Qualified teacher status or relevant teaching qualifications (desirable).
Experience teaching IT/Computing or related subjects in a school setting.

Responsibilities

Deliver IT and Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Develop pupils' digital literacy, coding and computational thinking.
Create personalised learning experiences for pupils with SEND/SEMH needs.
Support pupil wellbeing, academic progress and personal development as Form Tutor.
Collaborate with therapy team to design learning opportunities.
Develop vocational opportunities and opportunities to gain valuable skills.
